AFM Vendor Application Process

Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of the Atchison Farmers’ Market (AFM). Starting in 2019, the AFM will have a market canopy! The canopy will have 24 vendor stalls, $100 each (limit 2 per vendor) for the entire Season. We also offer uncovered vendor stall, at $50 each for the Season, no limit. Day vendors may rent uncovered stalls for $20 per Market day. Stall spaces are approximately 10’ wide x 20’ long.

All applications are subject to AFM Board approval, and non-refundable. Listed below are the steps you will need to take to make your application process go as smoothly as possible:

  • Read the Rules & Regulations to have an understanding of Market policy.
  • If you don’t currently have a Kansas Retailers’ Sales Tax Registration Certificate, you will need to apply for one and forward copy of same to the AFM Secretary-Treasurer before you can sell at the Market. Please see hyperlink below for the Kansas Business Tax Application.
  • Download the 2019 Kansas Farmers Market Vendors Regulations & Best Practices Handbook (see hyperlink below) to read and understand what the legal requirements are for your specific products.
  • Download and complete the 2019 Vendor Application & Agreement form. Your application will be reviewed by the AFM Board. You will then be notified of the Board’s decision.
