See Us At the Open Air Art Fair

Atchison Farmers’ Market vendors will be at the Open Air Market & Art Fair tomorrow, Saturday, April 30, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.  The event, sponsored by the Atchison Art Association, will feature: Farmers & Growers as well as artists and artisans.

Look for AFM vendors:  Mallow Farm (flowers, herbs, vegetables, tomatoes, and hanging baskets), at booths 44/45; McLenon Produce (purple and green asparagus), at booth 13, Ghost Roast Coffee at booth 23, and the Farmers Market information table at booth 16.

The Atchison Farmers’ Market booth will be giving away 3 $10 gift certificates, as well as a drawing for a bundle of fresh produce on opening market day, May 21.  There will be two tasting events:  asparagus ham roll-ups at 11 a.m. and pumpkin sheet cake at 2 p.m.

Come for a fun day at the Open Air Fair!

A Second Helping of Asparagus?

Rob McLenon, of McLenon Produce, will be back at the market this Saturday, April 23, at 9 a.m.  He will have more green and purple asparagus.

Other vendors may also be present.

Spring is here with Asparagus at the Market

Are you ready for Spring?  Asparagus is!!!  Rob McLenon will be at the Farmers’ Market with wonderful, fresh asparagus this Saturday, April 16, from 9 a.m. until sold out.

This is a pre-market sale period – when produce is ready, but the market is not officially open.  The official opening of the 18th season of the Atchison Farmers’ Market is set for Saturday, May 21.
